The Indian American community is really excited about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic state visit to the United States. Ahead of PM Modi’s state visit, Indian American diaspora held a Unity rally in Washington on June 18, welcoming him to the US. “We are all here to celebrate Unity Day. PM Modi will be joining President Biden, this is a great event for all of us. More than 900 people from over 20 cities will be joining us in the Unity March,” said Ramesh, a member of the Indian-American diaspora. “I am here to support Prime Minister Modi. It feels great to be able to engage with our Indian community. It is a very proud moment for all of us that PM Modi will be visiting the United States,” said Raj, another member of the Indian-American diaspora.
