Bhagwandas from Pune wants L K Advani to retire from politics

Biggest loser: L K Advani

This was perhaps his last chance to become prime minister. He is already 8a and will be 86 by the time of the next elections.

Ironically, Advani's hardline views made the BJP a national party in secular India.

Later, Advani shed his hardline view to woo other parties. He even created controversy by calling Jinnah secular.

He did everything he could to woo people of India. But nothing helped, not even his statement that Manmohan Singh is a weak PM.

Advani should realise that his political career has come to an end. He should make way for the next generation of leaders.

It is time for him to retire on the losing note that he deserves.
