My kids' first raksha bandhan

Yesterday was the first Raksha Bandhan for my nine-month-old twins, son Nevaan and daughter Katya. They were both dressed in Indian attire and looked very cute. I had a pretty relaxed day, spending time and playing with the kids. I don't have a sister, and so either my bua (father's sister) or one of my aunts ties me a rakhi.

Professionally, my wife Gauri and I recently opened a restaurant. Things are still in the teething stage. I am keen to get the restaurant going, and to ensure that it has a personal touch. This is a new field for both of us, so there is a lot to learn.

Towards the end of the year or maybe early next year, I hope to take Gauri and the kids on a long overdue vacation, possibly to France. I'm also looking forward to catching The Expendables, as I've heard many good things about it.
