I agree with Rahul Gandhi that Dr Manmohan Singh has shown tremendous grit and determination whenever he has been given a responsible position. Singh is educated and a thorough professional. The learned always make better politicians than those who want to occupy the positions of power for personal gain.

In India, uneducated politicians are many and they are ready to compromise on the nation's security only to make big bucks. They do not respect the sentiments of the common man and their own aim is to sow the seeds of disparity among the aam aadmi.u00a0

Singh has always been a responsible leader and has set an example for the future PMs of India. He has shown his determination by standing up against the Left even when his position was in jeopardy.u00a0u00a0u00a0

Singh is known for his work and his knowledge and cannot be influenced by the power of money. Empty vessels like L K Advani only make noise.

Elections are around the corner and let the people judge whether Singh is a strong or weak PM.

Rahul Gandhi defended the PM recently saying that the latter has kept the country growing faster and that he also signed the strategic Indo-US nuclear deal. But Rahul has conveniently forgotten that the US seems to have benefited more than India by this 'strategic' deal signed by Dr Manmohan Singh.

Rahul said that Singh has displayed tremendous grit and determination, but in his tenure Pakistan-sponsored terrorism has grown by leaps and bounds across the country. It's not just the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, but hundreds of innocent Indians have fallen prey to terror over the last five years.u00a0u00a0u00a0

What has been done by Singh for the Kashmiri pandits, who had to leave Jammu and Kashmir because of the frequent attacks by Pakistani militants?

I feel the situation is only going to worsen unless India votes for a strong PM.u00a0
