Her mother has been bringing her to the hospital for the last 11 years.
Initially, she was in a vegetative state but now she has recovered to a stage where she can take a few steps and try to eat on her own. It's her mother's support, which has given this girl the courage to fight and recover, albeit partially. I learnt from meeting her that if we give seemingly hopeless cases our support and encouragement, there will be no need for mercy killing.
