Varun should not apologise

A Lot has been said about the doctored CD of Varun Gandhi over the past few days. Pilibhit has a huge Muslim population and the reins of power in this region are with the minorities. In the last couple of months, hundreds of cows have been slaughtered there.

Kidnapping and other crimes have become routine in Pilibhit. It is a border area neighbouring Nepal and hence the crime rate is high.

It is unfortunate that when any leader talks in favour of the majority community, he is branded communal. But when one talks about helping minorities they are called secular. This is nothing but hypocrisy.
