BYD says production will be capped at just 30 units for buyers around the world

China’s BYD Yangwang U9 Xtreme redefining what an electric car can do. Germany’s Automotive Testing Papenburg has verified a blistering top speed of 308.4 mph (496.32 kmph), the highest ever recorded for a production car.
In doing so, the YangWang U9 Xtreme surpassed the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ record of 304.77 mph (490.48 kmph) set in 2019. BYD says production will be capped at just 30 units for buyers around the world.
