International Federation of Journalists condemns attack against journalists, calls on Taliban to immediately bring perpetrators to justice

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) on Monday called on the Taliban government in Afghanistan to bring the perpetrators of the attack at a press award ceremony to justice and end impunity for crimes against journalists in the country.

At least three people were killed, including two journalists, and over 30 injured in an alleged Islamic State (IS) bomb attack at a press award ceremony for media workers in northern Afghanistan on March 11.
