The Israeli Defence Minister has vowed to wipe Hamas militant group “off the face of the earth”. The Israel Prime Minister formed an emergency government on October 11 to direct war against Hamas. Israel Defence Forces reportedly hit hundreds of hideouts of the Hamas terror group across Gaza. Israeli fighter jets are pounding the Gaza Strip everyday with continuous air strikes to avenge the death of its citizens. Times of Israel reported that IDF bombed the house of the father of Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas` military wing. The IDF struck an important Hamas operational, political and military centre in Gaza—the Islamic University. Taking to ‘X’, IDF said, “Hamas transformed a university into a training camp for weapons development, military intelligence”. The Islamist Hamas gunmen invaded Israel from the Gaza Strip on October 07 in a surprise assault that killed at least 1,200 people.
