Having come down just for a day from Thugs Of Hindostan shoot in Rajasthan, Aamir Khan expressed how much he missed wife Kiran Rao as he showered affectionate kisses on her during his 53rd birthday celebrations
As he heaped praises on his better half, punctuated by laughs and hugs, Aamir Khan showed that Kiran Rao was the "major driving force" in his life; everything else was just background noise
Stating that Kiran Rao had brought a sea change in him, Aamir Khan said, "Ever since Kiran has been a part of my life, I feel there has been a change in me. Earlier, I used to be really serious, but now there is a sense of joy and calm. I am full of energy"
As is with birthdays, Aamir Khan too got into reflective mood and spoke about how Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist is not without his share of weaknesses
"I think my obsessive personality is a problem." One to be as discerning about himself as he is about movies, Aamir Khan added, "Another bad habit that I have is smoking. I have tried to quit, but I hope to kick the butt altogether"
If Aamir Khan was playing a harsh critic, Kiran Rao played his perfect cheerleader as she said that she wouldn't want to change a thing about her husband
Praising hubby Aamir Khan for his "sensitivity and intelligence", Kiran Rao said, "He has a deep understanding of people, and empathy towards the people he loves. I think those are the qualities that attracted me to him. Also, he has a sharp mind. I hope his ability to understand ideas and work on them doesn't change"
