Sharing how it was shooting with papa Sunny Deol, Karan Deol said in an interview with mid-day: "Initially, I was a little shy and awkward about doing this scene in front of my father."
Karan Deol also said: "That would be a normal reaction of any kid. But then, I just switched off and let my emotions flow. I was nervous at first, but after the take, I realised that the moment was beautifully captured and it was in sync with the story."
"I had no apprehensions about the scene. I approached it in the same manner as I deal with any other scene because at the end of the day, I’m playing a character and it flows with the narrative," Karan Deol further added.
For the unversed, the makers of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas launched the teaser of the movie on August 5, coinciding with the 36th anniversary of the release of his debut film, Betaab (1983).
The film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas narrates a love story with the essence of finding emotions and feelings felt when you fall in love for the first time. With all its innocence, doubts and the complexities.
Interestingly, the film's name Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is taken from a song by Karan's grandfather, Dharmendra's film, Blackmail (1973).
