Dia Mirza made Guru Nanak Jayanti a memorable one by visiting an NGO working for underprivileged children. The former Miss Asia Pacific spent some quality time with the kids. (All pictures/Yogen Shah)
The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared her thoughts. She wrote, "What a wonderful #Monday!!! Thank you #ExceedCares @angelxpressfoundation for this precious time with these very wise children from #Mumbai's street situations/slums. They taught us so much with their wisdom and joy."
She continued, "Can't wait to be back and spend more time with them. Afsar, this initiative of contributing 100 man-hours is invaluable and I am sure that Team Exceed and Exceed Talent will enjoy it just as much as we did today. Keep spreading JOY!"
This is a highly commendable gesture by the actress, isn't it? Although, this isn't the first time she is seen working on social fronts. Dia is UN goodwill ambassador for the environment, and is often seen participating in several social campaigns. On the work front, she was last seen in web series Kaafir.
