Mumbai Unlock 1.0: Barber shops, salons reopen after three months

  • On Sunday, barbershops, salons and beauty parlours in Maharashtra, including Mumbai reopened after the state government issued a notification to reopen them under its 'Mission Begin Again Phase IV'.

  • After being shut for business for over three months due to the global pandemic, salons and barbershops in the city resumed operations under relaxed guidelines. These shops had to follow strict government guidelines, including use of hand sanitisers and checking temperature of customers

Barbershops, salons and beauty parlours reopened in Mumbai on Sunday after being shut for over three months. Armed with face masks, sanitisers, hand gloves and face shields, the staff at barbershops and salons began operations as the first day first show gave us a glimpse of the new normal in COVID-19 world.
