News that actor Shah Rukh Khan had slapped Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder at Sanjay Dutt's 'Agneepath' success party had spread like a wild fire. Farah Khan announced it by sending an SMS to all media. The message read: "Shah Rukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem. It means the attacker has either a personal or professional crisis going on. It saddens me to see him doing the same." However, witnesses said Shah Rukh Khan never attacked Kunder. The incident turned uglier when people took to Twitter and started bashing Kunder. Shirish denied the news on Twitter, much to everyone's surprise. "Thanks for all your concern & wishes. We are very grateful. Contrary to rumours, we have no intention of filing a FIR or police complaint," he tweeted. He later tweeted, "Shahrukh and I just met, had a heart to heart chat and have resolved all misunderstandings. All animosity is now sorted for good. Some incidents in our life when resolved makes relationships stronger than they were ever before."
The box office battle between Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay' and Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' got dirty with Kamaal R Khan purportedly alleging that he was paid Rs 25 lakh by the latter to tweet against 'Shivaay'. Ajay Devgn issued a statement demanding investigation to find if Karan had paid KRK. Meanwhile, KRK took to Twitter and slammed Devgn and his team. "I say thanks to Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat for giving me licence to destroy their... film #Shivaay.." he tweeted. Later, KRK shot back at Ajay Devgn saying it was the actor who bribed him to criticise Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', giving a u-turn to the controversy. KRK, in his response, tweeted, "Let me clear it. Karan Johar has never paid me or asked me to bash #Shivaay and you can hear it in the tape. I said 25 Lakhs to avoid Kumar." In another post, he put blame on Kumar and the "Singham" star by writing, "Kumar+Ajay offered me money to bash #AeDilHaiMushkil as he is offering in the tape also but I refused. I told them that I will do it free." Later he tweeted, "People thinking that I called Kumar Mangat but not true. Actually he is close friend and he only called me and he called me many times before also." The controversy has resulted in trolling and bashing of Ajay-Kajol and Karan by each other fans.
