Nearly 48 hours after a factory building collapsed in Jalandhar, one person has been pulled out alive from under the debris. The three-storey building, housing a blanket factory, collapsed in the Focal Point area of the city around midnight on Sunday. 60 people have been rescued from the accident site so far while many people are still said to be trapped under the debris. An official from the IMD has said that the monsoon onset in Mumbai could result in heavy rainfall in the city by 15th June.
