Maharashtra Govt ordered a high-level probe and has announced ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased, injured in the Dombivli Boiler Blast. Extra-gratia of 5 lakhs will be conferred to kin of deceased while govt will bear the treatment cost of injured. As many as 7 died, and over 40 were injured after a massive boiler blast in Thane on May 23. The injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital and the rescue operation is still underway.
