Sharad Pawar Clarifies On Adani Remark
During a press conference on April 08, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar attacked the government over various issues prevailing in the country and said that other than Ambani-Adani, issues like unemployment, price hike need to be discussed. He said, “Nowadays names of Ambani-Adani are being taken (to criticise the government) but we need to think about their contribution to the country. I think other issues like unemployment, price rise, and farmers’ issues are more important.”

Adani-Hindenburg Case: SC Orders SEBI Probe, Adani Welcomes Decision
The Supreme Court on March 2 asked SEBI to complete an investigation into Hindenburg’s allegations against Adani Group within two months. It also ordered constituting an expert committee to review regulatory mechanism in view of the falling share prices of Adani firms triggered by the Hindenburg allegations. Business tycoon Gautam Adani on March 2 welcomed the decision and tweeted. Meanwhile, Aam Admi Party Leader Sanjay Singh, also commented on the issue.

Pawan Khera Sparks Controversy Over PM’s Father’s Remarks
Congress Spokesperson Pawan Khera landed in a soup after his remark against name of PM Modi’s father. During a press conference on Adani-Hindenburg row, Pawan Khera referred to PM as Narendra 'Gautam Das' Modi. However, Pawan Khera later clarified, “Is it, Gautam Das or Damodar Das?” “Though the name is Damodar Das, his actions are similar to Gautam Das” mocked Congress leader. After receiving widespread condemnation, the Congress leader said that he was actually confused.
