Richie Mehta: Poacher Is Based On The Largest Elephant Poaching Case Of India

Crime series 'Poacher' is all set to stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video from February 23. Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Richie Mehta, it stars Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew and Dibyendu Bhattacharya. In a media interaction, Richie Mehta said, “It is literally about wildlife crime fighters in India. People who are basically motivated to do everything they can in their power and more to save what they believe as a planet.” While being asked about his performance in the film, DEV D actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya replied, “Acting also should be like a living being. Kota Student Suicides: Spring-loaded fans installed in Hostels and PGs

In view of the rising cases of suicides by students in Rajasthan’s Kota, spring-loaded fans were installed in all hostels and Paying Guest (PG) accommodations of Kota to decrease the number of suicide cases among students. According to a report, the number of Kota student suicides has risen up. A total of twenty students have committed suicide in Kota alone in the last eight months. But can this step really help in preventing suicides or it needs a deeper intervention?

Pune: NDA Passing Out Parade

Passing Out Parade (POP) for cadets of National Defence Academy, 143rd course was organised on November 30. The Parade was held at Khetrapal Parade Ground of Khadakwasla in Pune. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar reviewed the POP Parade. POP marks the culmination of three long years of training at the academy and was attended by dignitaries. Navy chief said that as the cadets would step out of the arena, they will face a world where threat of traditional war still exists.
