In the ongoing investigations into the Salman Khan House firing incident, shocking details have emerged. A probe revealed that the shooters targeted Salman Khan during Eid at his Panvel farmhouse; but plan was foiled as Eid bash was cancelled due to a recent family wedding. The Mumbai Crime Branch recovered four magazines and 17 live rounds from Tapi River in Surat. In a shocking incident, two unidentified men opened fire outside actor Salman Khan's residence in Bandra earlier this month. During investigations, the accused admitted to throwing the guns into the Tapi River in Gujarat's Surat after firing outside Salman's Galaxy Apartment home.

In a massive success, security force officials foiled a major conspiracy to disrupt peace in Chhatisgarh’s Kanker, days ahead of LS Polls. Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army conducted a training exercise, involving the firing of anti-tank guided missiles. The exercise was conducted at a super high-altitude area of 17,000 feet in Sikkim on April 12. Missile-firing detachments from mechanised and infantry units of the entire Eastern Command participated. The exercise encompassed comprehensive continuity training and live firing from different platforms. It included moving as well as static targets which depicted actual battlefield conditions for the commandos. The ATGM system's performance in high-altitude environments reaffirms the aim of 'Ek Missile Ek Tank'.
