While Himachal Pradesh has been grappling with one of the worst floods in decades, Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s recent statement blaming the Bihari architects for the construction in the state that could not withstand the floods, has landed him in a damage control mode. Later, the Chief Minister clarified his alleged “Bihari architects” remark. Jordan’s heir to the throne, Crown Prince Hussein wed Rajwa Al Saif in a lavish wedding at Zahran Palace in Amman. Crown Prince Hussein, 28, and Princess Consort Rajwa, 29, had announced their engagement in August 2022. Princess Consort Rajwa is a Saudi-based architect. An exhibition at Sir JJ College of Architecture has drawings by students from 1800s to 1940s on display that offers a glimpse into the history of architecture study in India. Mustansir Dalvi, professor of architecture at the college, explains the story behind the exhibits. The exhibition at The Claude Batley Gallery on the premises will continue till February 27.
