LTT Railway Station Fire: Fire in Canteen at LTT Railway Station in Mumbai

A massive fire broke out in an eatery at Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus railway station on 13th December. The blaze erupted in the Jan Aahar canteen on platform number 1 of the LTT station at 2.45 pm. The fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire by 3:30 pm. The passengers were evacuated from the station and two vehicles of the fire brigade rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The video of the incident circulated on the social media in which black smoke rising above the roof of the railway station could be seen. Officials said that nobody has been injured in the incident of LTT Railway Station Fire.

Mumbai: Covid-19 cases rise significantly, TPR climbs to 1.5 per cent

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) latest report, the city recorded 481 fresh infections, up from 425 the day before. The state health department confirmed 2,219 new cases across Maharashtra and 49 deaths. On Tuesday, the state registered 2,069 new cases, which had fallen below 2,000 on Monday.
