The devotees in large numbers continued to throng Ayodhya on January 27 to take darshan of Ram Lalla on the fifth day after Pran Pratishtha of Ram Temple. IG Range Ayodhya, Praveen Kumar elaborated on arrangements made for effective crowd management. Earlier, on the fourth day after the Consecration Ceremony, Ayodhya also witnessed a long queue of devotees. The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Ram Mandir was held on January 22. The Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony after the hour-long rituals in the presence of PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30 urged citizens to light a 'Shri Ram Jyoti' in their homes and celebrate Deepavali on January 22 of 2024, when the idol of Lord Ram will be consecrated at the grand Temple in Ayodhya. Addressing to a mega public gathering in Ayodhya, PM Modi mentioned that the whole world is eagerly waiting for January 22."This historic moment has very fortunately come into our lives. We have to make a new resolve for the country and fill ourselves with new energy. For this, I urge all the 140 crore countrymen to light Shri Ram Jyoti in their homes on January 22 and celebrate Deepavali," the Prime Minister said.

The star cast of the upcoming movie ‘Dry Day’ spoke about the film in an exclusive interview. The Writer and Director of the movie Saurabh Shukla spoke about the message of the film and said that the story revolves around alcoholism and its effects on individuals. “This film is about alcoholism. It is the addiction of alcohol. That’s why the name of the film is apt since we all know if alcoholism increases, it gets out of hand,” said Saurabh Shukla. The main cast, Jitendra Kumar and Shriya Pilgaonkar spoke on their experiences of working under the direction of their friend and actor, Saurabh Shukla. “... Whenever you work with senior actors or directors it’s a star-stuck moment for some time but then you carry on with your work,” said Jitendra Kumar. “I am grateful that I got this chance to work in this film... I got to learn a lot of things while working on this project. I thoroughly enjoyed my work,” said Shriya Pilgaonkar.

International Yoga Day 2023 was celebrated across the globe on June 21. PM Modi led the global celebration of Yoga at the United Nations Headquarters. He also paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi upon his arrival at UN HQ. More than 135 countries participated in the event to show their commitment towards Yoga. This year the theme for International Yoga Day was “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.

Preparations are underway for the grand International Yoga Day event at UN Headquarters in New York on June 21. PM Modi will lead the grand celebration of Yoga at the United Nations Headquarters. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also participated in the Yoga session. More than 180 countries participated in the event to show their commitment towards Yoga. A yoga event in Gujarat’s Surat has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people for the yoga session. Over one lakh people took part in the Yoga event in Surat. The celebration witnessed the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who joined the state-level International Day of Yoga commemoration. Meanwhile, several union ministers participated in yoga sessions along with the locals in their respective cities. From Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, several Union Ministers started their day with their health being their priority on International Yoga Day. Along with Defence and Railways Ministers, Commerce, Education, and Sports Ministers also performed Yoga today. Amid all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on an Official State visit, will be participating in a Yoga session that will be held at the UN HQ in the US.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Union Minister Piyush Goyal participated in Yoga demonstrations at the iconic Gateway of India in Mumbai on Tuesday to commemorate the International Day of Yoga. Meanwhile, inside the premises of the Maharashtra Assembly or Vidhan Bhavan a yoga event was organised this morning in which Governor Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar among others participated. Speaking to reporters Chief Minister Shinde said that practising Yoga will keep one healthy both physically and mentally. Talking about the health benefit of the practice, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Yoga is a preventive therapy. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a State visit to the United States and will participate in a Yoga programme organised at the UN headquarters, wished people on the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day.
