He said that he would leave politics if his involvement in Sushant and Disha’s death is proven. Rahul Kanal has been considered to be a very close confidant and family friend of Aditya Thackeray. On July 1st, Kanal joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena formally breaking his association with the Uddhav faction.

Almost a decade after Jiah Khan's death by suicide, a special CBI court in Mumbai acquitted Sooraj Pancholi, who was Jiah's boyfriend and accused of abetting her for suicide. Pancholi's mother, Zarina Wahab, was also seen accompanying him in the Mumbai court. Pancholi was arrested in the case in June 2013 and released on bail in July 2013. Soon after a huge court relief, actor Sooraj Pancholi reacted on Instagram. Jiah's mother Rabia Khan, a key prosecution witness in the case, had told the court that she believed it to be a case of murder and not suicide. Reacting to the verdict, she reiterated that her daughter was killed and said she will approach the high court.

The mother of the victim in the horrific Kanjhawala incident in the national capital on Wednesday dismissed claims made by deceased Anjali’s ‘friend’ Nidhi and said that she “might be involved” in this “well thought-out conspiracy”. Rekha, the deceased’s mother, said that she does not know Nidhi who claimed to be Anjali’s friend on Tuesday. “She was in a drunken state but insisted on driving the two-wheeler. After being hit by the car, she came under the car, and got dragged with it. I was scared and ran away and returned home, didn’t tell anything to anyone. It is the fault of the girl who was driving in an inebriated state. I insisted to her so much that don’t drive, I am conscious, let me drive. She didn’t believe me and believed herself,” Nidhi had claimed before the media yesterday. Refuting her claims, Anjali’s mother said that she would not believe her remarks as her daughter “never used to drink”.Rekha questioned how Nidhi left the spot of the accident if she was Anjali’s friend and termed the incident a “well thought-out conspiracy”.

The family of accused Sheezan Khan held a press conference on Monday to address the alleged accusations levelled against them by the family of late actor Tunisha Sharma. Accompanied by Sheezan's lawyer, Shailendra Mishra, his sisters Falaq Naaz, Shafaq Naaz and his mother shared details about Tunisha's past, when she was allegedly mistreated by her family. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020 at his rented apartment in Mumbai. It has been two years since then but the mystery around his alleged suicide is still afresh. Although, investigation termed the death as 'suicide', fans and family had been claiming foul play and demanded that justice be served. An employee who witnessed the autopsy of the actor made a shocking claim suggesting that the actor did not commit suicide and was, in fact, murdered.Roopkumar Shah, who was present at Sushant Singh Rajput's postmortem, said, "When Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, we had received five dead bodies in the Cooper Hospital for postmortem. Out of those five bodies, one was a VIP body. When we went to perform a post mortem, we learnt he was Sushant and there were several marks on his body and two to three marks on his neck as well. The postmortem needed to be recorded but higher authorities were asked to only click pics of the body. Hence, we did that as per their order." A day after this, Bihar's former Director-General of Police Gupteshwar Pandey exuded confidence the truth may come out with the support of the current government in Maharashtra. "Now the government there (Maharashtra) has changed, I hope the truth comes out. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been formed to investigate the entire situation," said Gupteshwar Pandey while talking to ANI. The 34-year-old actor was found dead in his apartment in Bandra on June 14, 2020. Starting with the Mumbai Police, Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) were brought in to investigate various angles in the actor’s death. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, reacted to a hospital staff claiming that the late actor was murdered. On Monday evening, the statements of a man who worked at the Cooper hospital created an uproar online. Following this, former DGP of Bihar Gupteshwar Pandey also opened up on Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Reacting to the same, Shweta took to Twitter and requested the CBI to look into these new findings. On June 14, 2020, Sushant was found hanging to the ceiling fan of his apartment in Mumbai. The Mumbai police called it a case of suicide, however, his father lodged a separate case of abetment to suicide against the actor’s then-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Goa Police on Thursday said no sharp-edged injuries were found on the body of the actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Haryana Sonali Phogat who died in Goa on Tuesday. The Goa Police on Thursday also registered a murder case against two persons for their alleged involvement in the death of Sonali Phogat. Her body will reach Delhi tonight.
