During the inauguration of the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway on March 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Congress is dreaming of ‘digging a grave of Modi’ but Modi is busy in building Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway. He said, “Congress is dreaming of 'digging a grave of Modi'. Congress is busy in 'digging a grave of Modi' while Modi is busy in building Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway and easing the lives of poor.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that Bengaluru and Mysuru are important cities in Karnataka, one known for technology and the other known for tradition. Adding further, he said that the youth are taking immense pride in witnessing the growth of our nation.

Breaching the security, two prisoners scaled one wall and dug a tunnel to escape from Delhi's Tihar jail. One of the prisoners has been caught but the other managed to run away. Both the prisoners were in jail for burglary.
