The Home Voting for first phase of Lok Sabha election began in Rajasthan on April 5. The home voting facility announced by Election Commission of India has been extended to senior citizens above 85 years of age and voters with over 40 percent disability. In Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 3,632 eligible voters, including 3,134 voters above 85 years of age and 498 voters with more than 40 percent disability, have applied for home voting facility. In Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 3, 971 eligible voters, including 3,130 voters above 85 years of age and 841 voters with more than 40 percent disability, have applied for home voting facility. In the first phase home voting facility will be provided till April 13 from morning 7 AM to 6 PM. Under the second phase home voting facility will be provided for absentee voters on 15th April and 16th April. Special polling teams have been assigned for Home voting facility. Each polling team includes two polling officers, one micro observer, one policeman and one videographer.

Voting began for 119 Assembly Constituencies in Telangana on November 30. Voting began at 7 am and will conclude at 6 pm in the Telangana elections. Bharat Rasthra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha was seen casting her vote at the polling booth. She showed her inked finger after casting her vote at a polling booth in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Former cricketer and Congress Jubilee Hills MLA candidate Mohammad Azharuddin, Allu Arjun, Asaduddin Owaisi and his family were also seen casting his vote for the Telangana Assembly polls in Hyderabad. As many as 2,290 candidates from 109 national and regional parties are in the fray. The result of 119 assembly constituencies will be declared on December 03.

Rajasthan Elections 2023: Voting for Rajasthan Assembly election began on November 25. Mass of people queued outside polling booths to cast their votes. Union government has constituted a ‘One Nation, One Election’ Committee on September 1. The committee has been formed under the chairmanship of former President Ram Nath Kovind. Committee will explore the possibility which envisages holding of general, states polls simultaneously. CEC Rajiv Kumar said that EC is ready to conduct elections as per legal provisions. Earlier, AIMIM Chief Owaisi rejected the possibility of ‘One Election’ Bill and called it “unconstitutional”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on several occasions pitched the idea of One Nation, One Election.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai cast his vote in the Assembly election on Wednesday at Shiggaon in Haveri district. Accompanied by son Bharath Bommai and other family members, he also paid temple visits in the constituency before voting at a government school in Shiggaon, from where he is seeking re-election for the fourth consecutive term. Speaking to reporters after casting his vote, Bommai appealed to voters to exercise their franchise and thereby contribute in "writing the future of Karnataka". He expressed confidence that people will vote the BJP in with full majority.
