In yet another shocker in Maharashtra, an Instagram influencer named Priya Singh was subjected to near death by her alleged boyfriend, Ashwajit Gaikwad, said to a son of a high-ranking bureaucrat in Maharashtra. The horrific incident took place in Maharashtra’s Thane on December 11. Priya has suffered severe injuries on her right leg, shoulder and lower body and is currently being treated in a hospital. The Thane Police has registered a case and currently probing the matter. Meanwhile, Priya’s advocate is demanding the implementation of IPC 307 (punishment for attempt to murder).
