Maybe five years back I would have thought that I won't be able to work through the sea but I kept doing music and writing songs and did my first single with Sony Music of course, I did a chance to do my first single for Mismatched season 1 called ''Main Chala'' and then in season 2 I got the chance to do Kho Gaye and I literally begged for it and somehow it just happened post which I gained a lot of confidence which made me feel that I might be able to do it.' Mumbai-based music producer and singer plus songwriter Himonshu Parikh is also a keyboardist. He is also one of the founding members of the renowned indie-rock band - The Yellow Diary (TYD). He joined us on our latest episode of the Indie Insider. Interestingly, he reveals that the superhit song Roz Roz of TYD came out of an experiment. The draft of the song had a different melody also with a different hook. It was out of an experimental beat that Himonshu played. Himonshu has produced many songs for the Hindi film industry and OTT projects in recent times, like Kesariya from Brahmastra and Kho Gaye from Mismatched, Bedardeya from Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar and also Ayushmann Khurrana's latest single 'Raatan Kaaliyan'.
