Celebrations broke out across Maharashtra on the occasion of ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti 2024’ on February 19. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde offered a garland to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the 394th birth anniversary. On Shivaji’s birth anniversary, people performed ‘Aarti’ and celebrated the occasion. People in Nagpur, Maharashtra, gathered in large numbers on the streets and offered Aarti as a part of celebrations of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Per the Gregorian calendar, the state observes Shivaji Jayanti with an annual public holiday on February 19. Nonetheless, a sizable population of Maharashtrians commemorate the event on the third day of Phalgun in the Hindu calendar.

Wife of Ram Lalla idol sculptor, Arun Yogiraj - Vijetha on January 23 expressed joy over people’s response and love. She said that many people said that our house is a Mandir now. "We are planning to go to Ayodhya after a couple of days or so... The event yesterday was very nice. We all celebrated at home with all our relatives, friends and well-wishers. A lot of people came in, saying that our house is a Mandir now and everyone gave us blessings and love. It was later made with Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead. When asked why the film didn't happen, Bhardwaj answered, “We had differences over the setting of it. Income Tax sleuths have recovered more than Rs 200 crore cash in the Dheeraj Sahu IT Raids from several locations in Odisha and Jharkhand. Now, PM Modi took a jibe at Congress and said, “Who needs 'Money Heist' fiction, when Congress is there.” Prime Minister Modi further said, “Congress Party’s heists are legendary for 70 years and counting.” “In India, who needs 'Money Heist' fiction, when you have the Congress Party, whose heists are legendary for 70 years and counting!” However, after facing heat, Congress on Dec 09 said that the party is in no way connected with the businesses. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Dheeraj Sahu can explain the huge amounts of cash. "The Indian National Congress is in no way connected with the businesses of Dheeraj Sahu, MP. Only he can explain, and should explain, how huge amounts of cash have been reportedly unearthed by the income-tax authorities from his properties." Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday hit out at the INDIA bloc over the silence maintained by its leaders after the recovery of cash worth ₹353 crore from the premises of Congress MP Dhiraj Sahu. Attacking the parties on the Dheeraj Sahu IT raids, Amit Shah said, “I understand Congress is silent as corruption is in their nature but JDU, RJD, DMK, and SP all are sitting silently...Now I understand why a campaign was run against PM Modi that agencies are being misused. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Smriti Irani hit out at Congress on December 08 after crores of rupees were recovered from Congress party MP Dheeraj Kumar Sahu's premises during Income Tax raids. As the raids entered the third day, Income Tax sleuths recovered more than Rs 200 crore cash from several locations in Odisha and Jharkhand. The residences of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu were also searched. Reacting to the Incident PM Modi shared a post on his X handle stating "Countrymen should look at these piles of currency notes and then hear the addresses of its (Congress) leaders on honesty. Every penny looted from people will have to be returned. This is Modi's guarantee.”
