Ramnavami, the birth festival of Lord Ram Lala, was celebrated at noon and various types of offerings were made to the Lord. 56 types of Bhog Prasad were given by the devotees today which was offered to the Lord today. The trust also extended the duration of Darshan to 19 hours, starting from the Mangala Aarti and continuing until 11:00 pm. The curtain will be closed only for five minutes during the four Bhog offerings.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ahmedabad on April 02. While addressing the event, the External Affairs Minister categorically spoke about the India-China issues. He further hit out at India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru-led government and alleged that they made policies that favoured China more than India itself. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said, "In 1950, there was an exchange of views between Sardar Patel and (Jawaharlal) Nehru... Sardar Patel had warned Jawaharlal Nehru about China. Sardar Patel said that today we are facing a situation of two fronts (Pakistan and China), which for India has never happened in our history before. Sardar Patel also said that whatever the Chinese are saying, he feels that their intent is not good, and therefore, let us take precautions, and build a policy around this. Nehru's position was that he was completely dissenting. He replied to Patel that you are unnecessarily suspicious of the Chinese... Also, it is impossible for anybody to attack us across the Himalayas".

After years of delay, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 has been finally implemented in India. The Union Home Ministry on March 11 notified rules for implementation of the CAA, days ahead of LS Polls 2024. The Act aims to confer Indian citizenship to persecuted non-Muslim migrants including Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, and Christians who migrated from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan and arrived in India before December 31, 2014. Shortly after the announcement, celebrations broke out among the Pak refugees who had taken shelter in India. After years of delay, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 has been finally implemented in India. The Union Home Ministry has notified rules for implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on March 11, days ahead of LS Polls 2024. Home Minister Amit Shah, on multiple occasions, said that CAA rules would be notified ahead of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May. Since 2020, MHA has been regularly seeking extensions from Parliamentary committees to continue process of framing rules associated with it. Following the passage of CAA by Parliament in Dec 2019 and its subsequent Presidential assent, significant uproar erupted in various parts of country. Over a hundred individuals lost their lives either during protests or due to police action subsequent to passage of law in Parliament. Notably, TMC, led by Mamata Banerjee, has been opposing the CAA which also included a massive uproar in WB. Bihar's former CM Lalu Yadav, at the Rashtriya Janta Dal's "Jan Vishwas Rally", targeted both PM Narendra Modi and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Lalu Yadav’s remarks during the Jan Vishwas Rally sparked controversy on March 03. While addressing the rally Lalu Yadav went on to question PM Modi’s religion. He said, “Who is Narendra Modi?
