The situation in the flood affected state of Tamil Nadu has turned grim with heavy rainfall and water-logging, especially in the low lying areas. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will conduct an aerial survey of flood affected areas of Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallu today.
