BJP leader Tejasvi Surya cast his vote at polling booth number 70 in Bengaluru on April 26. The party has fielded him from Bengaluru South constituency for the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to ANI, he took a veiled jibe at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, He said, “The fact that Mallikarjun Kharge wants to meet the Prime Minister to explain his party manifesto indicates that perhaps even the Congress realises that it will be the PM who will implement some good ideas that may be present in the Congress manifesto. Perhaps this is the admission of Congress that they are not coming anywhere near power for the next two decades.”

LS Polls 2024: Sudha & Narayana Murty & Actor Prakassh Raj Cast Their Votes

Voting for the Second phase of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections began on April 26. Several politicians, businessmen, actors and top ranking officials from the Bengaluru constituency of Karnataka came forward to cast their votes today. Businessman Narayana Murty cast his vote at the BES polling station in Bengaluru along with his wife and author Sudha Murty. Voting for remaining seats in Karnataka will take place on May 07 and results will be declared on June 04. Sudha Murty shared a special message for young voters after casting her vote in the Lok Saba elections 2024. She urged people to come out and vote. She emphasized the importance of active participation. "I want to tell everyone- don't sit at home, come out and vote, choose your leader. I always feel that urban people vote less as compared to those in rural areas. I request youngsters to come out and vote,” said Sudha Murty. Actor Prakash Raj also cast his vote. Watch video.
