Delhi Icecream Vendor Murder: 25 Year Old Brutally Killed Near India Gate

On 24th of April, a gruesome murder took place near India Gate, New Delhi. A 25-year-old ice cream vendor named Prabhakar was stabbed to death during a fight near India Gate late Wednesday evening. A case of murder was registered under Section 302 IPC. The preliminary investigation suggests that Prabhat was selling ice cream when he had an argument with a customer over payment. The matter escalated and the accused stabbed Prabhat with a knife, before running away from the crime spot. Prabhat rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors. The police arrested the accused, who was on the run after identifying him with the assistance of CCTV cameras installed in nearby shops. He has been brought to the police station for further information.

I also directed the police team to take immediate action on this and in that path two of the accused have been arrested... This is Maharashtra, no gang is left here... We will uproot all the gangs and goons...Here hooliganism will not be allowed to continue... The accused arrested are being interrogated... Strict actions will be taken. I have also directed the Police Commissioner to provide security for Salman Khan and his family... It is our duty to take care of our people... I don't want to comment on what happened in the past government, but we will uproot all the gangs and goons who will try to harm any person of the state..."

After two children were hacked to death in Budaun's Baba Colony on March 19, the parents of the deceased opened up about the incident and demanded justice.  “We want justice. We want him to be interrogated in our presence. And then we want him to be killed in front of us. We won’t be at peace until we see him die in front of our eyes. I want him to die just like how he killed our children,” said Sangeeta, the mother of the deceased.Meanwhile, the father of the deceased children said, “Javed had borrowed money earlier too, 2-3 months back. This time too, he asked for money, took our kids to the roof, and killed them. He didn’t spare the younger child too. When our other child complained to us, he ran away. His shop used to be filled with gamblers. We want to know who is behind these murders… We want an interrogation, then an encounter.”

He said, "The individual from the salon arrived here. He escorted my brothers upstairs, but I'm unsure why he harmed them. He also attempted to assault me, but I managed to fend off his knife, pushed him away, and fled downstairs. Consequently, I sustained injuries to my hand and head... Two individuals (the accused) had visited here."Meanwhile in a new update on the Budaun double murder case, Bareilly IG Rakesh Kumar said that the accused fired at the police and was killed in retaliatory fire. He further said, “Today evening an unfortunate incident took place. The police reached the spot and the accused tried to escape. The accused fired at the police and was killed in retaliatory fire. The accused died on the spot. The accused is aged between 25-30.”

Goa police is likely to take Suchana Seth, the CEO of a start-up who is accused of killing her four-year-old child, to a service apartment where she had stayed to recreate the crime scene. This is required as part of the investigation into the Goa murder case. Goa DGP Jaspal Singh also revealed that the blood stains, on the basis of which the police were asked to investigate the case, were of Seth, who had a cut mark on her wrist. The Goa top cop said that Seth has not been cooperating with the investigating agencies. Seth was arrested on Monday night at Chitradurga district in Karnataka while she was trying to flee after killing her four year old son in a service apartment at Candolim. The accused was found with the body stuffed in the bag.
