A marginal drop was recorded in Mumbai's COVID-19 cases count on Tuesday with 1,002 new ones reported, even as Maharashtra recorded the highest number of single-day deaths at 97, with more than 2,000 fresh cases added to the state's toll. Even as cases continue to rise, Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has assured that the city is very much under control.
