Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 04 inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 11,599 crore in Guwahati. Launching the development projects, Prime Minister Modi said they will boost the connectivity in the region while also increasing avenues of employment for locals and encouraging them to take up sports. PM Modi in Assam also spoke about promoting culture and tourism. He went on to say that promoting tourism will increase employment opportunities. While delivering his speech, he also mentioned the number of devotees who have visited Ayodhya Ram Mandir yet.
