07 February,2024 12:50 PM IST | MumbaiAt least 11 people have been killed while over 60 others were injured after a massive fire broke out inside a firecracker factory in Madhya Pradesh’s Harda leading to several explosions, and triggering panic among locals in the nearby areas. Addressing the people, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that over 50 ambulances were sent to the spot and Minister Ranvendra Pratap Singh, DG Home and around 400 police officials also went to the accident site. The chief minister also announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh for the families of the deceased while the injured will be given free treatment. PM Modi announced that Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased and the injured will be given Rs 50,000.
