Aam Admi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal has become the first sitting Chief Minister to be lodged in Tihar Jail. The Rouse Avenue Court sent AAP supremo to judicial custody till April 15 in the Delhi excise policy case. As per ED, Kejriwal was shown evidence of more than 10 meetings of Vijay Nair with other co-accused persons involved in liquor business. During hearing, ED told Court that Kejriwal had admitted Vijay Nair of reporting only to party leaders Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj. Noida Police arrested YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav on March 17. He was produced at the Districts and Sessions Court, Surajpur, in the snake venom rave party case. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner had been reprimanded to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with a case under the wildlife protection act, 1972. Elvish Yadav was one of the 6 individuals named in an FIR filed at sector 49 police station on 3rd November, 2023. Although 5 other accused were arrested, they are currently out on bail, according to the officials. Watch video for more.

PM Modi implemented CAA on 11th of March. After the implementation several doubts have been raised which has now been cleared by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He had a detailed discussion on CAA in an interview on 14th March. He was asked about his stance on international media terming CAA as an "anti-muslim" law. To this, he replied, "You cannot see this law in isolation. In 1947, partition was done based on religion... Congress leaders at the time had said that people who migrated could come back anytime. But due to appeasement politics, Congress never fulfilled its promise... "
