BJP’s Madhavi Latha rains fire at Akbaruddin and Asaduddin Owaisi

Amid the ongoing war of words between Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha and the Owaisi brother, Madhavi Latha rained fire at AIMIM chief, Asaduddin Owaisi and AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and alleged that they are spreading poison among the common. Berating her opponent, BJP leader also alleged that Asaduddin Owaisi is leading his community towards destruction. “Asaduddin Owaisi is leading his community towards destruction. PM Narendra Modi has brought about so many schemes, and tell me which scheme has Hindu-Muslim written on it?...  People like Akbaruddin Owaisi and Asaduddin Owaisi are poisoning people's minds. When they along with Congress say they will give everything to the Muslims, where will 120 crore Hindus go?,” said Madhavi Latha.

Indian Army conducts Anti-Tank Guided Missile Firing in Sikkim

Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army conducted a training exercise, involving the firing of anti-tank guided missiles. The exercise was conducted at a super high-altitude area of 17,000 feet in Sikkim on April 12. Missile-firing detachments from mechanised and infantry units of the entire Eastern Command participated. The exercise encompassed comprehensive continuity training and live firing from different platforms. It included moving as well as static targets which depicted actual battlefield conditions for the commandos. The ATGM system's performance in high-altitude environments reaffirms the aim of 'Ek Missile Ek Tank'.

Sadhguru discharged from Delhi hospital after undergoing brain surgery

Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was discharged from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi on March 27. He underwent emergency brain surgery after suffering life-threatening bleeding in the skull on March 17. He experienced severe headaches for a few weeks before undergoing the surgery, according to Isha Foundation. In a video clip, the spiritual Guru was seen coming out of the hospital as his followers greeted him. Sadhguru has suffered multiple bleedings in the brain before being hospitalised. Sadhguru, who is 66 years old and the founder of the Isha Foundation, has launched campaigns like ‘Save Soil’ and ‘Rally for Rivers’ for environmental conservation. Watch video.

Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed and vehicles plunged into the river on Mar 26 after a ship collided with one of the pillars. Daylight drone visuals showed the extent of damage the bridge suffered sending cars and people into the river. Following the incident, US Secretary of Transportation emphasised that the path to normalcy after the bridge collapse would not be easy. Meanwhile, locals recalled the moment of collapse and one of them said the noise was felt in the house. The Maryland state police on March 27 informed that six people who were missing after the bridge collapsed incident have been presumed dead. The ship was identified as a Singapore-flagged container ship, the Dali which was bound for Sri Lanka.
