PM Modi & Top Leaders Extend Wishes for WB CM Mamata Banerjee's Swift Recovery

Just weeks before the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained a significant injury on March 14, leading to her hospitalization. Rushed to SSKM Hospital by TMC GS Abhishek Banerjee, she bore a serious forehead wound. While TMC All India Trinamool Congress briefed her well-wishers about the incident, no official statement was released. Kunal Ghosh had foreseen a mishap at her residence. Despite this, an outpouring of support was witnessed from her followers outside the hospital. Meanwhile, leaders including Delhi CM Kejriwal, TN CM MK Stalin, WB BJP Prez Sukanta Majumdar, and others expressed their hopes for her swift recovery. Following her admission, she was transferred from Woodburn Block to the Trauma Care Centre. This incident echoes prior injuries sustained before the WB Legislative Assembly Elections in 2021 and the Panchayat Polls in 2023.

Modi Government implemented CAA on 11th of March which has created a nationwide stir among people. BJP Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai on March 12 attacked DMK and CM MK Stalin over his remark that he will not allow implementation of CAA in Tamil Nadu. While attacking DMK, CM Stalin Annamalai said all the persecuted minorities are happy and CM Stalin should resign for making such kind of statement.    He said, “In these three countries any religious persecuted minorities have come in so they will be granted citizenship by following a process… This amendment is not going to take a citizen from anybody, in fact, people are going to gain their citizenship. In what world Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is living? So what authority does he have to say that I am going to prevent this from happening, he cannot prevent it, how can he prevent it? It is going against the oath he has taken, better he resigns and gives a political speech…All the religious persecuted minorities are happy yesterday they celebrated sweets, are then not our people?”

SC slams Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over "Sanatana" Remarks

The Supreme Court on 4th of March slammed Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over his "eradicate Sanantan Dharma" remark. Stalin’s lawyer moved the Apex Court seeking clubbing of multiple FIRs registered against him in several states. Slamming Stalin, the Supreme Court said that the leader abused his right to “freedom of speech.” Supreme Court adjourned DMK Minister’s plea for its next hearing on March 15. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khan and Dipankar Dutta told Stalin that he is a Minister and should know the consequences of his remark. Stalin is the Minister of youth welfare and sports of Tamil Nadu. He is a well known film actor and son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and ruling DMK chief M K Stalin. Chennai flood 2023: K Annamalai slams MK Stalin led Tamil Nadu government

Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party President K Annamalai visited the Chennai Ambattur Industrial Estate on December 8 and inquired about the industries affected by the Chennai flood 2023. Annamalai visited the KKR metal components industry, inspected it, and enquired about walking in knee-level water in the company. Annamalai launched a scathing attack on the Tamil Nadu government for its lack of assistance in the flood-hit areas. He further added that the government needs to spend its reserves equally in different parts of Chennai. While speaking to ANI, K Annamalai said, “The government has to acknowledge that something wrong has happened and address the situation. The government has to spend its reserves equally in different parts of Chennai.”

Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani participated in Janmashtami Mahotsav in Dwarka of Delhi on September 6. While addressing the public at the event, Union Minister Irani fumed at DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over his ‘Sanatan Dharma’ remark and said that no one can challenge the 'Sanatan Dharma' as long as the devotees are alive. “Our voices must reach those people who challenged 'Sanatan Dharma'. Till devotees are alive, no one can challenge our 'dharma' and faith,” said Smriti Irani.
