The IT employees in India’s Silicon City, Bengaluru on March 13, expressed dismay amid the Bengaluru water crisis in the Karnataka state. The depletion of groundwater and drying up of more than 3,000 borewells in the capital city has made it difficult for people here. The IT employees are now choosing Work from Home (WFH) due to water scarcity in Bengaluru. “If we get work from home it will be good as the water will be saved...it will save our time and water,” said Amogh, an IT employee. “More amount of water is spent if the employees go to the offices. It’s better to get work from home… Never thought that we would get WFH because of water scarcity,” said Varsha, an IT employee.

A Tanker carrying chemicals overturned on Chilhar Boisar road, Palghar. A chemical leak occurred from the overturned tanker. The tanker was on its way from Mumbai to Tarapur MIDC. The Driver and the carrier suffered some minor injuries. The tanker hit the divider due to the lack of a wrong way turning direction. Several fatal accidents have occurred on Palghar's roads in the past few days.

A Roll-on Roll-off service carrying three tankers loaded with Liquid Medical Oxygen left from Hapa in Gujarat on 25th April at 6:03 pm and reached the Kalamboli goods yard in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region at 11.25 am on 26th April.
