India is set to host G20 development ministers' meeting in Varanasi from June 11-13. G20 delegates arrived in Varanasi on June 11 and were accorded a grand welcome at the Varanasi airport, where Shehnai was played to welcome the delegates. Deputy Administrator of USAID Isobel Coleman also arrived at the airport. The G20 Development Ministers’ Meeting will be chaired by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a special video address at the beginning of the meeting.
