"Every penny looted will be returned" PM Modi strongly reacts after IT recovers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Smriti Irani hit out at Congress on December 08 after crores of rupees were recovered from Congress party MP Dheeraj Kumar Sahu's premises during Income Tax raids. As the raids entered the third day, Income Tax sleuths recovered more than Rs 200 crore cash from several locations in Odisha and Jharkhand. The residences of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu were also searched. Reacting to the Incident PM Modi shared a post on his X handle stating "Countrymen should look at these piles of currency notes and then hear the addresses of its (Congress) leaders on honesty. Every penny looted from people will have to be returned. This is Modi's guarantee.”
