Following the arrest of three alleged bookies in a joint operation of the UP Police and BCCI's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) during an IPL match between Gujarat Lions and Delhi Daredevils on Wednesday at Kanpur's Green Park, the ACSU has clarified that no cricketer is under investigation.

“No player from any team involved in the Kanpur match is under investigation, ” Neeraj Kumar, Chief of ACSU, told mid-day yesterday.

“These arrests are a result of our own network. The ongoing investigation has nothing to do with any cricketer,” he added.
