Italian rider Valentino Rossi won the Dutch MotoGp on Saturday to record his 100th career win and take the overall lead in the world championship standings.
The eight-time world champion beat home his Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo while Australia's 2007 world champion Casey Stoner was third on a Ducati.
"I must thank everybody. My team and my fans. I would like to also thank my friends and my family, in fact everybody that has inspired me and kept me focussed.
"I am the second rider in history to win 100 races, behind Agostini.
"I am just so delighted! I hope that I will be able to have other victories in future seasons and beat his record."
