Chandresh Shah of JVPG and Rovin D’Souza of Hindu Gymkhana topped groups A and B respectively with an all-win record to advance to the next phase of the SPG-PCL billiards tournament at the Shivaji Park Gymkhana’s billiards hall recently.
In a Group-A encounter, Chandresh beat Park Club’s Lalit Jham 320-172 for his fifth straight win. Rovin also won five consecutive matches, outplaying Parag Paithankar of Matoshree Club 218-122 in the fifth tie.
