Leicester City star Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah has slammed the term WAG, a tag used for wives and girlfriends of sportsmen.
The 34-year-old model in an interview with Piers Morgan, who called her the ‘chief WAG’, felt that calling her WAG was “dated” and “derogatory”.

“You can think of something better than that, surely? It’s a bit derogatory, isn’t it? I’m not just a wife and a girlfriend, I’m a mum, and there’s so many more of the wives and the girlfriends that have careers, that do other stuff instead of you know just sitting and shopping,” she was quoted as saying by independent.co.uk.
