Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has pulled out of next week's Thailand Open to undergo potentially season-ending minor back surgery, organisers said.

“The Thailand Open regrets to announce that Andy Murray has withdrawn from this year's tournament,” the Bangkok event said in a statement.
Murray, 26, has been bothered by back pain this year and even skipped the French Open to rest the injury. His decision to undergo surgery is likely to rule him out of the season-ending World Tour Finals in London.
