Badminton: MIG stuns Bombay Gym

MIG CC (Bandra) stunned Bombay Gymkhana 3-2 in their opening Division I group A tie of the inaugural Club Badminton Championship League, sponsored by Bathija Developers-Yonex and hosted by Sports United, at MIG's badminton court on Saturday.

MIG started on a disastrous note. However, the pair of Viplav Kuwale-Saurab Bhapat and Amit Kshatriya-Jui Agaskar helped them take the tie into the decider where Jitesh Padukone and Romit thrashed Jatin Agarwal and Naval Birkumar 11-10, 11-8, 11-2 to clinch the issue.
