Yash Tiwari of CCI shocked fourth seed Yash Salgaonkar to enter the men's singles quarter-finals, in the CCI Greater Mumbai District Badminton Championship, at the Cricket Club of India yesterday.
Tiwari, a product of the Prakash Padukone Academy, dropped a close opening game but rallied to win 17-21, 21-9, 21-10 for the solitary upset of the day.
