Borivli Boys beat Shreya XI by 10 runs to win the Sahayadri Krida Mandal-organised Laxmibai Nikhalje memorial cricket tourney at Tilak Nagar, Chembur recently.
The Borivli lads scored 42 for one in the five-over final and in reply Shreya XI managed just 32 for six. Rahul Yadav and Rauf Khan of the Borivli outfit were adjudged best batsman and best bowler respectively.
Borivli Boys received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh while Shreya XI were richer by Rs 50,000. The winners received their cash awards from chief guests Rahul Walanj, Nilesh Paradkar and Mumbai Ranji cricketer Shreyas Iyer.
