Bosco's clinch hockey title
Don Bosco (Matunga) clinched the Mumbai Schools sports Association’s inter-school U-16 title yesterday beating Our Lady of Dolours (Marine Lines) 2-0 in a keenly contested final at the MHA-Mahindra Stadium yesterday. Ashotesh Shinde and Darren Nunes scored a goal each to give Bosco’s the title.

Earlier, in the third place play-off, St Stanislaus (Bandra) beat St Andrew’s (Bandra) 4-3 via tie-breaker. In the penalty shoot-out, Lamuel M, Kirsten Almeida, Earl A and Kevin Barnes scored for Stanislaus, while Aziz Shaikh, Sakib Shaikh and Krishna Yadav got the goals for St Andrew’s.
